Weaver, Barbara E. (18 Jul 1845 - 20 Sep 1924)
Barbara Elizabeth Norton was born July 18th, 1845 in Hope, Bartholomew Co., Indiana. She died Sept. 20, 1924 at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 9 days.
When four years of age she came to Iron Ridge, Dodge Co., Wis. with her parents. Feb. 6th, 1864 she was united in marriage to Elias Weaver. To this union were born six children, one of whom died in infancy.
In 1867 they moved to Loyal, Clark County, Wis., settling on their homestead now known as the Harry Brown farm. Forty-five years ago they came to the village of Loyal, where she has since resided; being preceded in death eighteen years by her husband.
She is survived by five children, Mrs. A. K. Church and Mrs. Sam Johnstone of Loyal, Mrs. Eric Amble of Auburndale, Ellis of Woodruff and Morris of Neillsville.
There are also nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held from the home on Monday afternoon, Sept. 22, Rev. W. J. James officiating. She was laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Weaver and Harry Weaver of Woodruff, Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Weaver, Mr. and Mrs. Boulger of Minocqua, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Weaver of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Amble, Misses Bessie and Amy Amble, Mr. Oscar Oleson of Auburndale, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Weaver, Percy, Helen and Walter Weaver, Mr. Wm. Johnstone, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wittke of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Luber of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Graves, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Graves of Spencer.
